Software architecture, essays and poems, and companies built with small teams who have big stories to tell.
A childhood of atlases and made-up constellations, each with a settlement at its base. The medium changed from poems to programs to systems that try to understand their world. The wandering didn’t.
The Architect
Software architect since 2010 and programmer since 2003. Domain languages since 2016; now Domain Language Models and Maiaen, the platform behind Mviaso’s intelligent systems.
The Writer
Poems since 2007 in English, Hindustani and Punjabi. Essays on building, on Indian IT and on the craft, and a memoir written one chapter at a time.
Approach
Close to sixteen years of architecting software across consumer goods, ecommerce, manufacturing, telecom and QA automation, at the meeting point of Domain-Driven Design, DSL development, and applied research in ML, AI and IoT.
Programming is a kind of writing, and well-designed systems read like stories. The expertise is not in mastering languages; it is in understanding problems deeply and crafting solutions that serve the people who eventually use them.
The work is rooted in systems thinking that reaches beyond code: organisational design, team dynamics and behavioural psychology are part of every architectural decision.
The simplest expression of an idea is usually the most durable.
The best architectures emerge from teams that elevate each other.
Frameworks are tools, not destinations. Slow, deliberate work outlasts trends.
