What Happens When
What happens when Cupid strikes, when someone Loses his breath after a crush; Lets hear a Romeo express.
‘Wow!!! She is just, well lost words, By the way, who is she? Oh! Who am I?’
What next, the usual; Sleep lost, verses pop out And just her, nothing but her, Here he continues.
‘Oh! Her brown eyes, Those beautiful eyes, Lethal than a cobra, But expressive enough for any expression.’
‘Upon that smile, Just adds to her beauty, Dispersing calmness, soothe ness, Enough to refresh any fatigue.’
‘And the way she talks, Walks, manner of her expression, Just anything about her, Simply bounds me in her charisma.’
Dreams at night may fascinate, But a Romeo’s proposal simply scares, One gathers all the strength, Then comes his Juliet, and
‘Nerves, bizarre, all lost, Stomach stiffens, senses fail, Feet go numb, just startled. God! How on earth will I ever say?’
Desperation finally overcomes fear, Though not completely; And he asks for her phone number, Cause- To get to know her better.
And she casually delays, Says,”It’s going to change, Will give you later.” Hmm, quite tactful.
Next, misery showers, State of hopelessness declared; Helplessness, some swearing. Say a prayer, he just can’t wait.
Then one cool day, (Not so for the Romeo) The Juliet approaches, looks cute. God! Got a red rose n a nice card.
Says, “Hi, how are you.”
(Amazed yet hoping) Romeo replies, “Just fine and you.”
“Me too, can you do me a favor.”
(Eyes Sparking) “Anything for you.”
“Well, will you, this card and rose.”
(Breathing heavily) “Yes, this card and rose.”
“It’s for-for, Can you please give it to Ben?”
(Startled) “Ben???”
“Well, I-I love him, I really love him, But just can’t say to him.”
(Almost choking) “Why me?”
“Cause you’re his best friend.”
“Ya… (Burning inside) Well fine.”
“Thank you so much, You’re so nice.”
Well, Destiny plays pretty good, Just left our Romeo speechless; Oh! She returns.
“Sorry I forgot, This is my new number.”
