When in Love
When in love, You’re the wingless bird That just flies in dreams And talks of skies.
Love is in the air, Poetry turns hobby, Romance flows like cool breeze, And heart beats fever in.
When in love, The mind races everywhere, Yet finds no where, Know you’re here, still ask where.
Cupid strikes you dead, You turn a mad, That drinks tea, Instead a cold drink.
When in love, You dream her, On sleepless nights; Think only of her, and yet think nothing.
She turns your angel, That dream girl Without whom, Even beauty isn’t beauty.
When in love, She’s your world, Whose refusal is dreaded, And your proposal, a bizarre.
Truly in love, You’re a senseless lovebird.
